Can I work?

Permit-free student work
Yes
Yes applies to full-time study at this institution. No means a work permit is required; approval status can change, so verify before relying on income.
Legal basis
Publiczna uczelnia akademicka: exempt from MSWiA approval, art. 144 ust. 5estimate
NAWA recognition before the visa
A modern Mongolian secondary certificate has NO automatic recognition: the 1972 Prague Convention ceased to apply on 6 Aug 2004. Since 1 JULY 2025 the Director of NAWA (not the regional kuratorium) issues the recognition decision, online via SYRENA, FREE of charge. Requires apostille + sworn Polish translation (only EN/RU/UA/BY documents are translation-exempt, so Mongolian documents always need a tłumacz przysięgły).
Start NAWA recognition three to five months early. The Ulaanbaatar embassy requires the decision with a bachelor's visa application.
Polish level required
C1 (state certificate) for the fee exemption; B2 to enrol
